Year 5 Crime & Punishment Day
Yesterday, Year 5 took part in an exciting Crime and Punishment Workshop, bringing history to life through a range of immersive and interactive activities. Throughout the day, the children explored how crime and punishment have changed over time by taking part in a dramatic mock trial, a witch hunt investigation, crime-solving challenges and hands-on experiences with replica punishment devices. Everyone showed fantastic teamwork, speaking and reasoning skills as they worked together to debate verdicts, solve clues and decide what was (or not) considered a crime throughout history. It was a memorable day of learning that really helped the children deepen their understanding of their history topic.
