World Mental Health Day

The theme of 2022’s World Mental Health Day, set by the World Federation for Mental Health, is ‘Make mental health and wellbeing for all a global priority’. As a school, mental health is a priority for us so we marked World Mental Health Day in school in a variety of ways for both pupils and parents.

Parents Coffee Morning

Making connections with others is hugely important in maintaining mental health and we know how valuable relationships with other parents can be. Over the last few years we know it has been more difficult for our parents to get to know each other due to both Covid restrictions and the growing size of the school. Therefore, on World Mental Health Day, Monday 10th October, we invited parents to come into school for a coffee morning in the school hall with the sole purpose of establishing (or maintaining) relationships with each other and benefiting mental health.

We hope to offer more coffee mornings over the coming months.
