World Mental Health Day

Mental Health IS Health

Today we marked World Mental Health Day in school. All classes spoke about the importance of Mental Health, and how it is just as important as physical health. Classes undertook activities which enhance mental health, watched videos promoting the importance of talk for mental health and had the opportunity to share their concerns. On Friday we will be holding a non-uniform day in aid of the charity Young Minds who focus specifically on fighting for mental health for all young people in the UK.

Key Stage Two also welcomed along trainers James and Sean from local gym Eventus22 who worked with the pupils on different exercises and how exercise can help improve mental health. We are having them visit again in February to work with our younger pupils. You can find out more about the work they do by visiting https://eventus22.fit/
