World Book Day
On Thursday 5th March we celebrated World Book Day. As a school, we focused on the theme “Reading Builds Vocabulary.” Pupils took part in a variety of book-based activities designed to help expand and enrich their vocabulary.
One of the highlights was pupils stretching their imagination by dressing up as a word. There were some fantastic and creative costumes on display, including intergalactic, justice, clumsy, iconic, and puzzled, to name just a few!
A particularly special moment of the day was when our older pupils spent time reading with the younger children. It was a delight to see them sharing stories together and enjoying the magic of books.
