St Edmundsbury Cathedral
Year 1 and 2 were very excited to go on their first ever school trip today. We went to St Edmundsbury Cathedral where we heard the story of St Edmund, linked to our history unit of work on our local area. The children took part in a trail around the Abbey Gardens where they found signs of St Edmund, explored the cathedral looking for signs and symbols and finished with some craft activities. We were blessed with wonderful weather and everybody had a fantastic time.
