Planting!
In Early Years, we have been busy learning about the outside world and how we can grow plants and keep them safe. We have had great discussions on why plants are important (especially for the bees!) and the children have loved sharing what they are growing at home in their gardens.
Each child has planted their own sunflower seed and have been watching them grow for the past few weeks, soon they will be taking them home and we can’t wait to hear about how tall they grow!
We are planning on picking our own strawberries and peas soon to share for snack and are excited to grow more plants in the coming weeks.
