Holi Festival celebrations
In KS1, as part of our Religious Education curriculum, we are currently exploring the rich and diverse beliefs and practices within various religions, including Hinduism. One of the significant festivals celebrated by Hindus is Holi, often referred to as the Festival of Colours. We had a fun afternoon splattering paint on a T-shirt, making a banner by painting our hands using colourful paints, designing our very own Holi card and T-shirt and dancing on Hindu music. At the end, we even got to share some colourful sweets!
