Great Fire of London Drama Workshop
Last half term we learned all about the Great Fire of London : how and when it started, why it spread so quickly and what people did to rebuild the magnificent city of London. In the morning a very special visitor came to see us in school: Samuel Pepys! He read us his diary, he taught us a song (London is burning) and then we put some actions to it – we loved using the orange ribbons because they looked like blazing flames. Thank you Samuel Pepys for giving us the best source of evidence from 1666!
