Forest Schools Without Trees?

We moved into our new building over the summer and, though we have glorious views of the surrounding country side, when we first moved in our forest schools area was distinctly lacking a forest. Over the coming weeks, months and years we will develop the forest schools area using ideas from the children, parents and wider community. We are hoping to secure funding to support this development too.

For our first forest schools session of the year, we explored the area we now have available to us and made some pine cone owls who will reside in the trees in our library.
