End of Term Awards Spring 2025
We held our end of term awards today and were really pleased to present the following awards:
Progress Award
Addison has made huge progress in English written work. She is now writing in full sentences using capital letters and full stops.
For making fantastic progress in her reading. Keep up the hard work Florence!
Early Years –Frankie- Frankie has worked very hard this term and has made great progress in all areas of learning. Frankie is keen to share her ideas and thoughts during class inputs and loves completing her work, she is proud of what she accomplishes.
Upper Key Stage Two- Bow- Bow has made incredible progress in her writing, really trying hard with spellings, content and presentation.
Effort Award
Elsie always gives 100% in every lesson even when she is finding things challenging.
Early Years –Freddie- Freddie consistently gives 100% effort into everything he does. He always follows the Thurston Way and is a role model to the rest of the class.
Community Award
Our community award was given to Nelly in Leopards. Nelly was nominated by her class teacher as she wrote an incredibly persuasive letter to highlight the problem of litter in our community and along the A14 which she sent to the council and our local MP.
Well done Nelly!
Christian Value Award
Our Christian Values for the Spring term were Perseverance and Justice. The school Christian Value award was given to Grace Woods in Dolphin Class. Grace has been perservering with her phonics and reading and Mrs Gladding and all the staff are very proud of her.
Outstanding Fridays
All children who have received an outstanding raffle ticket this term were put into a draw today to win a £10 book token. The winners were:
