Eco Leaders
Last week, our Eco-Council led a fantastic Collective Worship explaining their aim to reduce waste and litter, as well as increasing biodiversity. In school, we have been focusing on recycling materials from the classroom, as well as putting food waste from breaktime into our new compost bin.
Can you help reduce waste at home? Perhaps instead of giving your child a snack in single-use plastic, buy a larger pack to put in a reusable containers instead. Can you remember to take your single-use plastics to the supermarket to recycle? Just look out for the soft plastics logo on the back to see if it’s recyclable.
