Ancient Rome Day
Today our Year 3 and 4 children had an unforgettable experience as they stepped back in time to explore the wonders of Ancient Rome! With the help of Historic Workshops, the pupils spent the day fully immersed in Roman life, taking on exciting roles and learning through hands-on activities.
The children became Roman scribes, carefully practising their writing using traditional techniques, just as ancient scholars would have done. They also trained as Roman soldiers, learning about army formations, discipline, and the equipment that helped Rome build one of the most powerful armies in history.
A wonderful day was had by all!
